Club Orange

A review of Rotterdam does not automatically describe Westerdam, and an older photo of a cabin may not reflect what a traveler will find after a refurbishment. There is no universal best ship. Pinnacle-class vessels offer the broadest contemporary Holland America experience, while smaller ships may be preferable for certain itineraries or travelers who value intimacy over additional venues.
Is Holland America good for long cruises?
It can be an excellent fit. Longer and destination-rich voyages are an important part of the line's identity, and our own Holland America experience includes several trips lasting three to four weeks.
Holland America or Celebrity?
Both are premium cruise lines we know well, but they have different personalities. Celebrity generally emphasizes more contemporary ship design and a modern premium atmosphere. Holland America often emphasizes destination depth, traditional cruising, mid-size ships, live music and longer itineraries. We choose between them based on the traveler, ship and itinerary rather than declaring one universally better.
