Cruise with Suzanne & Steve · June 2028
Big wilderness. Just 224 guests. Join us for Alaska’s interior and a remarkable southbound voyage aboard Star Seeker, one of Windstar’s newest all-suite yachts.
Why we chose this journey
After our Windstar journey through Greece and Türkiye, we booked another small-ship adventure onboard—this time to Alaska. We’re taking the full cruise and Denali tour, and we’d love to have you join us.
Pair expedition-style exploration with the comfort, cuisine, and easygoing atmosphere of a small yacht. Star Seeker’s intimate size and maneuverability bring us into remarkable fjord settings, with optional guided Zodiac outings for an even closer look. Add modern suites, personal service, and excellent dining, and you have an Alaska journey that lives up to Windstar’s promise: 180° from Ordinary.

Meet Star Seeker · A newer generation of Windstar
Star Seeker joined Windstar’s fleet in December 2025 as the first newbuild in its Star Class. She brings a fresh design to the intimate, relaxed style that makes Windstar special.
Choose an Ocean View Suite, an Infinity Suite with a floor-to-ceiling window, or a suite with a private veranda. Between adventures, settle into the Yacht Club, find a favorite spot on deck, or simply enjoy the view from your suite.
Windstar is the Official Cruise Line of the James Beard Foundation. At Amphora, menus feature dishes created by James Beard Foundation chefs, alongside international and regional flavors. Star Seeker also introduces Basil + Bamboo, adding another reason to look forward to dinner.
The James Beard Foundation partnership is part of Windstar’s culinary program; a visiting chef is not advertised for this sailing.

Start inland · June 3–7
Before the first fjord comes Alaska’s interior: Fairbanks, Denali National Park, and Talkeetna.
Four nights on land give this journey a completely different beginning. Trade the coastline for mountain scenery, broad valleys, and the chance to look for Alaska’s land wildlife before heading to Seward to board Star Seeker.
We’re doing the full land portion ourselves. It’s a wonderful way to make the most of the trip and experience more of Alaska in one journey.
See the daily land inclusions below. Wildlife sightings, mountain visibility, park access, hotels, and activities remain subject to operating conditions and final arrangements.
What the $3,800-per-person land portion includes
The land program adds four hotel nights, four breakfasts, two lunches, two dinners, touring, and transfers before our ten-night cruise.
No included arrival-day meal is listed.
Windstar also lists Anchorage Museum admission among the land-program inclusions; timing will be provided with the final arrangements. Meals not listed above are additional. Hotels and program details are subject to change.
Skip the Denali land portion and join Star Seeker in Seward on June 7 for the ten-night cruise to Vancouver. Your fare is reduced by $3,800 per person. Contact us to arrange the cruise-only booking and discuss getting to Seward.
The coastline is the main event
Windstar’s small scale opens up scenic waters beyond the reach of larger cruise ships. This route gives Alaska’s fjords the time and attention they deserve.

June 8 · Kenai Fjords National Park
Glaciers, rugged cliffs, and rich marine habitat set the scene just after leaving Seward. Be out on deck with your binoculars as we explore one of Alaska’s great coastal landscapes.
June 12 · Endicott Arm
Follow a dramatic glacier-carved waterway framed by steep mountains and waterfalls. Ice and conditions shape the day’s exploration and how close the ship can approach.
June 14 · Misty Fjords
Forest, sheer granite cliffs, and waterfalls create a very different side of Alaska. Windstar’s small yacht lets us appreciate the scale and stillness of this remarkable setting.
Optional Signature Expeditions · Additional charge
Step from the yacht into a guided Zodiac cruise for an even closer perspective on Alaska’s wild coastline.
Windstar’s expedition guides bring the landscape to life as you explore the shoreline and watch for wildlife. These small-group outings are an exciting way to add another layer to our scenic fjord days.
Zodiac excursions cost extra and require separate booking. Windstar offers its Signature Expeditions in these fjord areas; the specific departures offered on our sailing will depend on the final excursion program, weather, ice, operating conditions, and availability.
We can help you review the options when released. Wildlife sightings and individual outings are not guaranteed.
